Event details

Did you know that all nurseries and schools in England are taking climate action and working towards becoming net zero? But teachers and school staff can’t do it alone – they need superhero Climate Ambassadors to swoop in and make it happen!

Climate Ambassadors are passionate and motivated people from all kinds of backgrounds, whether it be protecting our homes from flooding, making sure our money is doing good, researching creatures that live in our rivers and ponds, or making sure we reconnect with nature.

Norwich Science Festival is a chance for you to meet Climate Ambassadors and interact with the work they do to help schools take action on decarbonisation, climate education and green careers, improving biodiversity, or adapt and build resilience to climate change.

If you are an adult, find out how you can become a full Climate Ambassador to support your youngster’s school with climate action. If you are a child, become an honorary Climate Ambassador for the day, interact with our exhibits, and draw up your bright idea on a mini action plan, which we will send to their school.

Come along to The Explorium in Norwich Forum between 15-17 February, and see how you can make a real difference.
