I am a SenSS DTP programme PhD researcher in the Norwich Business School, the Science, Society & Sustainability (3S) Research Group and Tyndall Centre at the University of East Anglia. My research explores the role of alternative and diverse economies in transitions to low-consumption social systems, using the Norwich Sharing City project as a case study. I am particularly interesting in the more radical and systemic transformations that local sharing and commoning projects could engender, and the role these could play in facilitating a high-wellbeing and socially just shift to low material throughput societies.
Before starting my PhD in February 2022, I completed an MSc Ecological Economics degree at the University of Leeds and a BA Natural Sciences, specialising in Environmental Sciences, at the University of Cambridge.
