The Tyndall Centre at the University of East Anglia (Tyndall UEA) hosts the Tyndall Director and Tyndall Executive Director. Membership spans the faculties of Sciences and Social Sciences with most researchers being from the School of Environmental Sciences, the School of International Development, the Norwich Business School, and the School of Psychology.
Tyndall UEA’s key areas of research across all four Tyndall research themes. They include active research in climate policy and net-zero; understanding human behaviour and climate change; removing barriers to low-carbon energy; tracking trends in carbon emissions; assessing climate risks and adaptation/resilience; integrated assessment models; biodiversity and climate change; and synergies between climate action and development and poverty alleviation.
Tyndall UEA collaborates with other research centres and groups at UEA, including the Climatic Research Unit, the Centre for Oceanic and Atmospheric Sciences, the Water Security Research Centre, and the Adapt Low Carbon Group. These activities sit within the umbrella of the new ClimateUEA initiative.
