The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Centre for Climate Change Research and Social Transformations (CAST), which is a major ESRC investment, founded in 2019. The Universities of Bath, East Anglia and Manchester are its main partners, together with the charity Climate Outreach.
You will have a PhD or equivalent professional experience in a relevant social science discipline (or if you are close to completing, you should have undertaken your viva voce examination by 26 October 2026). You will also have experience of independent research and impact, have significant previous experience of independent and team-based research, have publications in respected journals or equivalent within the field, and be able to work in a proactive and results-driven manner.
