Natthanan Suksuwan

PhD Researcher

I am a PhD researcher in Energy at Newcastle University, working with Dr Hannah Bloomfield and Prof Oliver Heidrich. I have a background in electrical engineering and energy and power systems management. My research explores how climate change and extreme weather events may affect Thailand’s electricity sector, with a particular focus on solar photovoltaic (PV) energy. I am interested in understanding how solar PV systems can remain reliable and resilient under changing climate conditions, while also considering their environmental impacts through life cycle assessment (LCA). Ultimately, my research aims to contribute to a more resilient and sustainable energy future for Thailand.
