Tom Bedford is a PhD researcher at the University of Bath and a member of the Centre for Doctoral Training in Green Industrial Futures. His research examines public perceptions of carbon capture and storage and hydrogen power generation, exploring technology acceptability across the technologies production, use and storage chain.
Tom has worked across academic, policy and industry settings on green skills, net-zero governance, organisational decarbonisation and domestic energy storage. His work includes co-authored research for ClimateXChange and the Scottish Government on public perceptions of carbon capture and storage.
Tom holds a BSc in Sustainability from Keele University and an MSc in Global Sustainability Solutions from the University of Exeter.
