Sophie is based at the University of East Anglia (UEA) in Norwich, UK, where she communicates the research of the Tyndall Centre, helping it reach wide and relevant audiences. Her work focuses on digital communications, including copywriting, typesetting, content design, social media, and online strategy, as well as the development of brand assets and marketing materials.
Sophie has spent most of her career in higher education and the charity sector, specialising in digital communications and editorial roles. She has previously worked at LSE’s Grantham Research Institute, BookTrust, and the British Red Cross, among others.
Alongside her professional work, Sophie writes and reads widely, with a particular interest in how stories help us make sense of uncertainty and threshold states – especially in relation to climate change and the self. She also likes to watch films and explore the outdoors.
