Qianwen Duan

PhD Researcher

Qianwen Duan is a PhD researcher at the University of Southampton, funded by the ESRC South Coast DTP. Her work focuses on using mobile phone data to understand human redistribution and activities and on assessing the ecosystem and biodiversity risks associated with these patterns. She is broadly interested in how climate change reshapes interactions between people and wildlife. Before starting her PhD, Qianwen worked as an urban planner in China.
