Paolo is a PhD student at the University of Manchester. His research focuses on Wind Assist Technologies for Ship Propulsion, aiming to reduce CO2 emissions in the shipping sector.

Background

Paolo studied Physics at the University of Napoli “Federico II” , graduating in 2022. He then moved to the University of Bern (Switzerland), for a master in Experimental and Applied Physics. In his final thesis, he used the Bern SPH code to study boulder fragmentation on asteroids.
