Jess Boxall is a Research Fellow at the University of Southampton, Clinical Informatics Research Unit. Her research interests focus on issues surrounding food security and the relationship to health, particularly in the context of climate change and the impacts of this phenomenon. Jess also has a strong interest in women’s health, and inequalities within research.
Jess completed her BSc in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Southampton, and has recently graduated with an MSc Public Health and Nutrition from the same institution. Jess’ MSc thesis explored the impact of climate change on food insecurity and health in a rural, under-served population in northern Ghana. Alongside these studies, Jess has several years of experience working within clinical data management and programming.
