Dwica is a PhD researcher at University of Manchester, based in Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research.
Supervised by Alejandro Gallego Schmid, Andrew Wefle, Amanda Lea-Langton, her research explores the sustainability of current and future bioeconomy implementation in Indonesia, considering relevant environmental, economic and social aspects.
Background
Dwica took her bachelor degree and master degree in Environmental Engineering at Universitas Indonesia. Following her passion in environmental sustainability, she took master degree in Industrial Ecology Program, Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. Her master project was to analyse the environmental impacts from chemical products using life cycle assessment. Before starting her PhD in September 2022, she worked as lecturer in Environmental Engineering Program at Universitas Indonesia, where she also involved in different LCA projects. She received scholarship from LPDP, Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education.
