Amy Cutajar

PhD Researcher

Amy is a PhD researcher at The University of Manchester, who is currently researching ways how to decarbonise the aviation industry by performing an Environmental Assessment on newly evolving Alternative Aviation Technologies and Practices. Amy’s PhD research topic represents a natural progression from her MSc dissertation project whereby she analysed ways how carbon dioxide emissions generated from the aviation sector can be reduced further.

Amy holds a B.Eng. (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc in Aerospace Engineering. Moreover, Amy has also worked in industry where she gained experience on Liquid Natural Gas and Jet A1 fuel operations.
