Alexander Shaw

Alex is a PhD researcher at Tyndall Manchester. His research focuses on assessing how the impacts of climate change may affect the successful delivery of both infrastructure and lifestyle decarbonisation strategies designed to mitigate against climate change, with the aim of finding solutions to avoid or minimise those negative impacts.

Alex graduated with an MSc in Environmental Sciences from the University of East Anglia in 2020, where his dissertation investigated the role of climate change in violent conflict, and with a BSc in Physical Geography from the University of Hertfordshire in 2019.
