I am a Late Career Academic after time spent in business and UK parliament. My UEA DEV 2013 PhD led by Dr Mark Zeitoun is on barriers to the provision of drinking water in developing countries in Southern Africa impacted by climate change.
I was appointed to Columbia University Water Centre 2012-20 under Professor Upmanu Lall leading on America’s Water initiatives and the setting up and follow up on UNSDG Six on Water. I co-authored the OUP Handbook on Water Food and Society 2019 with Professor Tony Allan.
I am a visiting Research Fellow at the University of Cape Town 2014-23 and CNMI Cambridge University 2020-25. I am currently a Research Associate at the Tyndall Centre working on the interface of politics, business and climate change action under the Burnham Premiership.
