Nicolás Labra Cataldo

PhD Researcher

Nicolás is a PhD researcher in Tyndall Centre for Climate Change research, at the University of Manchester. His research focuses on the evaluation of circular economy policies through a life cycle thinking approach to promote a just transition towards sustainability in developing countries.

Nicolás holds a MSc in Sustainable Development with a major in Energy and Materials from Utrecht University – The Netherlands and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica – Chile.

Previous to his PhD, Nicolás worked in the private and public sector as waste management engineer and sustainability consultant. He has performed as an associated lecturer in sustainability in several Chilean universities.
