Laurie Kerr

PhD Researcher

Laurie is a PhD researcher in the school of Environmental Sciences at UEA.  Laurie’s research forms part of the ‘SILCI’ project which explores disruptive low – carbon innovations and how they spread through processes of social influence. Laurie’s research is centred on peer-to-peer mobility innovations. In particular she explores the early adopters of these innovations, and the potential for these innovations to reduce CO2 emissions, if adopted at scale.

Prior to starting her PhD, Laurie graduated from UEA in with a BSc (hons) in Ecology with a Year in Europe (spent at the Institut de Géographie Alpine in Grenoble, France).  In 2017, she completed an MSc in Environment and Society Studies, with a specialisation in Local Environmental Change and Sustainable Cities, at Radboud University in the Netherlands.
