Kate Goldie

Senior Research Associate

Kate completed her PhD in Geography in 2024, with her research exploring human-animal relations. Situated within the broader context of the Anthropocene, her research advocated for novel ways of engaging with farmed animals and their care.

Currently, Kate works as a qualitative researcher exploring access to urban green and blue spaces in Southampton. This research endeavours to highlight physical and societal barriers, particularly in marginalised groups, to promote inclusive and well-connected urban environments.

Joining the Tyndall Centre, Kate is interested in incorporating more-than-human approaches into sustainability research.
