Jez Fredenburgh

Researcher

Jez is the Knowledge Exchange Fellow for AFN Network+ (Agri-food for Net Zero Network+). The Network is a new £5m UKRI-funded research project co-led by Chatham House and the Universities of East Anglia, Leeds, York, and West England. The aim is to bring together a diverse group of researchers and stakeholders focused on driving the UK agri-food system towards net zero by 2050.  Through collaboration and knowledge exchange, the Network+ is identifying and funding research gaps to accelerating this transition.

Jez has been an agri-food journalist for the past 10 years, working for Farmers Weekly, Farmers Guardian, BBC Future and National Geographic among others. She has also worked as a communications consultant and editor for the Sustainable Food Trust, Grantham Institute (Imperial College), Food Farming and Countryside Commission, Soil Association, WWF and the Prince’s Countryside Fund.
