Francesca Tirotto

Francesca A. Tirotto received her PhD in Social and Environmental Psychology at the University of Plymouth, UK (2022). Her doctoral project focused on social identity processes involved in the social acceptance of deep geothermal energy in Cornwall, Wales and Scotland. She previously worked as a Data Scientist, Teaching and Research Assistant. She is currently a Research Associate at Cardiff University’s Centre for Climate Change and Social Transformations, working on the project “Public understanding of and behavioural factors in indoor air quality”. She is interested in how people think and behave in group settings, in different types of pro-environmental behaviour, and how people interact with different technologies.
