Diego is a PhD student in the School of Economics at the University of East Anglia. His research interests are environmental economics, applied econometrics and welfare effects of ecosystem services changes. Before joining the University of East Anglia, Diego worked in the Colombian Environment Agency at the bureau of economic valuation of natural resources. He also has experience as a part-time lecturer and research assistant at the Economics department at the Universidad de Los Andes in the field of Cost-Benefit Assessment. His thesis has a research focus on the impact of peacebuilding policies to end ecosystem depletion and inequality.
