Chris is currently researching systems of governance of bioenergy and agricultural practice in Sub-Saharan Africa, and how it can stimulate development and improve access to clean, sustainable energy in the Global South. He has expertise in crop modelling, having previously created a novel parametrisation for winter wheat in the UK using the JULES modelling system. He gained his MSc in Climate Modelling and Policy from Bristol and his BSc in Biology in Manchester.
