Christina is a PhD researcher, currently based at the University of Manchester. Under the supervision of Rodger Edwards and Sarah Mander, she is working on understanding unregulated electricity consumption within university buildings. Her research involves using room level sub-metering data to quantify different unregulated energy factors, in order to develop a methodology to accurately predict future consumption levels. This work is primarily focused on laboratory buildings, but also considers other types of typical university buildings.
Her research interests include the Higher Education Sector, electricity consumption, and occupant behaviours.
Before joining the Tyndall Centre, Christina worked at The University of Manchester, focusing on studying different energy behavioural change measures. She has an MSc in Sustainable Development (Climate Change and Risk Management) from the University of Exeter and a BSc in Combined Studies from the University of South Wales.
