Anowyesha Dash

Anowyesha is a PhD researcher supervised by Professor Maria Sharmina at Tyndall Manchester and Dr Jo Mylan at Alliance Manchester Business School. Her research explores a circular economy framework for small enterprises in the food sector in India. Anowyesha has three years of research experience in sustainable and climate finance in emerging markets, innovative financing models and MSME financing. Anowyesha has worked with coastal marine communities in Odisha to conduct a challenges-mapping exercise for institutional strengthening and livelihood development for fishing communities. Through her research, Anowyesha aims to identify strategies for micro and small enterprise development for socio-economic wellbeing in the Global South.
