Alexis Ioannidis is a Senior Research Associate at Norwich Business School, University of East Anglia (UEA), working on the Concrete solution dRaining for the Climate and Environment (CIRCLE) project, sponsored by the European Regional Development Fund.
Prior acquiring his current Senior Research Associate role, Alexis held a Research Associate role (TILOS Horizon 2020, INTERREG VA – Intelligent Community Energy), RA and Tutor roles at the University of East Anglia. Alexis has a multi-disciplinary background compromising corporate sustainability, sustainable marketing, environmental management, strategy and energy policy. His current research interest lies within corporate environmental sustainability strategies and the circular economy.
His PhD research explored the antecedents and performance outcomes of environmental corporate sustainability strategies. Alexis joined Norwich Business School in October 2016 under a faculty Graduate Teaching Assistant scholarship.
He holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Physics from the University of Kent where he graduated in 2013 and completed his MBA in International Oil and Gas Management from CEPMPL, University of Dundee in 2014. He is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA). He has been a Researcher at the UEA’s Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research since October 2016.
