Opportunity: Senior Research Associate in Spatial Analysis of Local Energy Projects

This is an exciting opportunity to join the EnergyREV consortium of 60 researchers working on smart local energy systems. The post holder will use spatially-explicit data and related analytical techniques to understand why local energy projects have been developed historically in some parts of the UK but not others. The post holder should be an experienced spatial and quantitative data analyst with a PhD or equivalent experience and be familiar with energy-related terminology and data.

The post holder will be based at the University of East Anglia and will be fully integrated into the EnergyREV consortium, the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research, and the Centre for Social and Economic Research on the Global Environment (CSERGE). The post is full-time for 12 months, available from 1 March 2020 (or sooner if available). Please contact Charlie Wilson to discuss your interest and availability.

Applications are due by December 20th. For full details: https://myview.uea.ac.uk/webrecruitment/pages/vacancy.jsf?vacancyRef=RA1715
