Opportunity: Senior Research Associate in Policy, Politics and Climate Change

An exciting opportunity to work in a new ESRC funded research Centre investigating how low-carbon futures can be shaped through policy, and how these will impact everyday lives.

The post holder will conduct research on when, how and why significant decarbonisation transformations have occurred in the past, and what role policy and politicians can play in accelerating them in the future.

The Centre for Climate Change and Social Transformations (CAST) is a major ESRC investment, funded for up to 15 years. The Universities of Cardiff, East Anglia and Manchester are its founding partners.

The post is available on either a full-time or part-time (0.6fte – 1fte), fixed-term basis for 36 months (pro rata equivalent, but not beyond 30/04/2024). It is located at the University of East Anglia, School of Environmental Sciences.

Closing Date: 8 August 2019; Ref: RA1659
