Research associate in international transport. Tyndall Manchester is looking for a highly motivated and energetic interdisciplinary researcher who is keen to build on their doctoral research to develop their experience in climate change mitigation strategies for international transport (shipping and/or aviation). The appointed candidate will have the scope to develop new research avenues whilst enhancing and developing research activities within existing projects funded by UKERC and EPSRC. The successful candidate will be based in Tyndall Manchester and must be keen to engage in policy-relevant interdisciplinary activities and have excellent communication and knowledge exchange skills. This is a 36-month post in the first instance, with a possibility of extension. Flexible working arrangements will be considered.
