High-level workshops on disruptive low carbon innovations organised by the SILCI project team were a huge success. The first workshop brought together innovators, incumbents, intermediaries, investors, and regulators working on disruptive low carbon innovation. The second workshop involved researchers and practitioners in identifying the main challenges for advancing scientific understanding of the role disruptive innovation can play in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Organised by Future Earth and the Tyndall Centre, with support from the UK’s Science and Innovation Network.
